WRAP Ministry Privacy and Confidentiality Agreement *
As a volunteer of LifeBridge Christian Church WRAP Ministry for Foster Families, I understand that all information is to remain private and confidential and must not be discussed with anyone except those approved by the Foster Parent. This includes information on the children's health, school activities, behaviors, psychological status, family matters, and any other information pertaining to any child who is in care or has been in care. Anyone who provides such information to anyone not approved may lose their privilege of volunteering for this ministry. Please initial below
Code of Conduct and Basic Rules *
WRAP MINISTRY VOLUNTEER CODE OF CONDUCT  Volunteers practice the Golden Rule, to love those whom they serve. Above all else, volunteers do no harm: • They treat everyone with the dignity deserved as persons created in the image of God. • They will not discriminate or refuse service to persons who are desirous of support, irrespective of their race, ethnicity, or culture.  Volunteers will ensure that all communications with the family, including verbal, written, or electronic, remain confidential. The exception to this is when human life is imperiled, or violence is threatened.  Volunteers will refrain from any sexual misconduct with persons and families in need of care. Misconduct is defined as any form of sexual touch or contact, romantic relationships, seductive speech, nonverbal behaviors of sexual nature, excessive inquiry about sexual issues and problems, and using their relationship as a means to pursue personal sexual gratification. These sexual behaviors are always unethical, even when there is implied consent from the person or families in need.  Volunteers will not solicit payment or obtain personal rewards for the services that they facilitate.  Volunteers will function under the supervision and direction of the Family Advocate of LBCC WRAP Ministry. Family Advocates, under the next level above.  Volunteers are committed to promoting the common good, both within the body of Christ and in their overall community. • "In the same way, let your light shine before others so that they may see your good deeds and glorify the Heavenly Father." - Matthew 5:1  For Family Advocates - Family Advocates will not abandon the Foster Family or terminate services without appropriate notice and preparation. Termination of services occurs when the goals have been reached or when the Foster Family no longer desires such services, or some other mutually agreed situation. WRAP MINISTRY VOLUNTEER BASIC RULES  When you are at the family’s house, remember, you are not there to be entertained. Do what you volunteered to do.  Never ask why children were placed in foster care; don’t ask about their story.  Do not take pictures or videos.  Do not share anything about the family or children on social media.  Do not share names or addresses of foster families and children with anyone, i.e., If you ask family or friends to pray for your Foster Family, Do Not share personal information.  Respect and do not be judgmental of the Foster Family care and discipline of the children.  When babysitting, understand and follow the family care instructions, including food, meals, and bedtime. Don’t deviate!
